How to Create Custom Services

Custom Services let you bring the systems you own into the same status view you already trust for third-party providers.

Custom Services are for systems that aren’t monitored automatically. You can create and update incidents for these services, and they’ll appear alongside Website Monitors and 3rd-Party Services on your dashboard and status page.

Steps to Create Custom Monitor

1. Sign in to IsDown

2. In the left sidebar, choose Monitors ▸ Custom Services.

3. Click on + New Custom Service (top right corner)

1. Click Create Custom Service - Your new service now appears under Custom Services and can be shown on any status page you publish.
