# How to Enable Dark Mode on Page Load

1. Access your **status page URL.**
2. **Append the `?dark=1` parameter** to the end of your status page URL to force Dark Mode on load.
   * **Example:**
     * Original URL: `https://isdown.app/s/yourpage`
     * Dark Mode URL: `https://isdown.app/s/yourpage?dark=1`

```
https://isdown.app/s/xxxxx -> https://isdown.app/s/xxxxx?dark=1
```

4. **Share the updated URL** with your team or stakeholders to provide them with the Dark Mode version of your status page.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Adding `?dark=1` to your status page URL only affects that specific link.

It cannot be set permanently through your status page settings; each link must include the parameter to force dark mode.
{% endhint %}
