# How to Accept Invitation

You've been invited to join your organization's IsDown account. Follow these steps to accept the invitation and get started.

**Step 1: Check Your Inbox**

You should’ve received an invitation email from **IsDown**.

> Can’t find it? Check your spam or promotions folders just in case.

It looks something like this:

**Step 2: Click the Invitation Link**

Click the **“Accept Invitation”** button in the email. You’ll be redirected to IsDown.

**Step 3: Set Your Password & Join the Team**

Fill in the input fields with a **strong password**, with at least 12 characters, to secure your IsDown account. We recommend using a password manager like **1Password** to generate and store it safely.

After setting your password, click **"Accept Invitation"** to complete the process.

If everything goes well, you’ll be automatically redirected to your **IsDown dashboard.**

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.isdown.app/accounts/how-to-accept-invitation.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
