How to Set Up FireHydrant Integration

Integrate IsDown with FireHydrant to receive real-time alerts about third-party service outages directly within your incident management workflow.

  1. After you sign in/sign up in IsDown, click "Alerts & Integrations" in the sidebar.

  2. Select "Add" on FireHydrant check box (Image 1) and enable the Integration (Image 2).

  1. Next, go to FireHydrant to get the API Key

    1. Go to the menu item Settings (top right)

    2. In the sidebar, click API Keys

    3. In the top right corner, click the button Create API key

    4. Give the API Key a name (e.g., IsDown)

    5. Click Create

    6. Copy the API key, head to the IsDown website, and add it to the form.

    7. Click Save Changes

And it's done. When an outage starts, we will create an alert in FireHydrant and close it when the vendor closes the status update.
